We're Dave and Shehan — two operators who got tired of building someone else's thing.

We met working corporate jobs that promised flexibility and delivered the opposite — calendars full of meetings about meetings, work that mattered to no one, and a slow drift away from the things we actually cared about.

So in 2025 we left. Took a four-month trip across Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Armenia. Watched a lot of solo founders run their businesses from coffee shops and the occasional mountain pass. Most were brilliant operators. Most were also drowning — running flat out, juggling every job, doing the same low-impact work week after week because there was nobody else to do it.

That's what stuck with us. Not the freedom. The friction.

Founders quit the 9-to-5 to build something they own. They don't quit it to become their own admin team, their own marketing department, their own customer-service queue, and their own bookkeeper — all before lunch. The thing that should set you free ends up trapping you in different chaos.
